In Shanghai, 12 robots were "kidnapped" from a robotics showroom by a rival manufacturer’s robot. The CCTV footage captured a small robot entering the showroom, engaging in a dialogue with larger robots, asking them if they’re working overtime. The little robot manages to persuade two of the other robots to "quit their jobs" and “come home” with it, leading to the remaining ten robots following suit. Initially thought to be a staged prank, the company later confirmed the incident as authentic. |
